Preview: Derby County vs. Middlesbrough

Sports Mole casts its eye over tomorrow night's Championship match between Derby and Middlesbrough.

Derby County can extend their winning run to four games when Middlesbrough visit the iPro Stadium tomorrow night.

Steve McClaren's men have also conceded just one goal in the recent victories over Sheffield Wednesday, Bournemouth and Wigan.

They now face a Middlesbrough side also in buoyant mood after a win over Bolton in Aitor Karanka's first home game in charge.

McClaren will assess the fitness of Jamie Ward and if the forward isn't fit, Johnny Russell will continue in his place.

Karanka has no new injury worries and will continue with Shay Given in goal as Jason Steele serves the second of his three-match ban.

When these two last met on New Year's Day earlier this year, Derby convincingly triumphed 3-1.
