Deportivo La Coruna ease past Eibar

Deportivo La Coruna breeze past Eibar with a 2-0 victory in La Liga, thanks to goals from Lucas and Ivan Cavaleiro.

Second-half goals from Lucas and Ivan Cavaleiro ensured that Deportivo La Coruna eased past Eibar with a 2-0 victory in La Liga this evening.

The hosts went close early on when Celso Borges rose highest in the box, only to head tamely wide without testing the Eibar keeper.

After a listless first half, the game was finally brought to life when Lucas was quickest to react to a fumble in the box, as he tapped home to give La Coruna the lead.

The hosts secured all three points with just 10 minutes left to play when away defender Borja Ekiza produced a woeful back-pass, which allowed Cavaleiro to steal in and bag his side's second of the night.
