Czech captain Rosicky out of Euro 2016

Czech Republic captain Tomas Rosicky has been ruled out of the remainder of Euro 2016 with a thigh injury.

The 35-year-old midfielder suffered the injury during Friday's 2-2 draw with Croatia, but was able to hobble through until the full-time whistle.

National team doctors, however, have disclosed that the former Arsenal man will play no further part in France, as he is expected to be out for between three and six weeks.

The Czech Republic will wrap up Group D with a fixture against Turkey on Tuesday.
