Joe Ledley has revealed his eagerness to rise to the challenge of playing in the Premier League following his move to Crystal Palace on transfer deadline day.
The 27-year-old completed his move to Selhurst Park on a three-and-a-half-year deal after rejecting the offer of a new contract from Celtic, and he admits that the chance to play in the top tier of English football was too good to turn down.
"I'm just glad to get it over and done with and look forward to the new challenge ahead," Ledley told Sky Sports News.
"Obviously I had a fantastic time at Celtic, three-and-a-half years, and my challenge now is to play in the Premier League and I look forward to it.
"It's every boy's dream. I'm just over the moon to have got it done and look forward to the challenge ahead."
Ledley's previous deal with Celtic expired at the end of the season.
