Alan Pardew praises "sublime" Wilfried Zaha

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew hails Wilfried Zaha as "sublime" for his performance in their 3-3 draw at Hull City.

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has described Wilfried Zaha as "sublime" for his performance in the Eagles' 3-3 draw at Hull City this afternoon.

The winger was involved in all three goals at the KCOM, going down for the first, scoring the second and setting up the third as Pardew's side salvaged a point against their relegation rivals.

Speaking to reporters afterwards, Pardew described Zaha's strike as "a contender for goal of the season" and also praised his opponents for doing "a good job".

"Let's not get bogged down. There was great commitment from both sides," he said. "This was a very different Hull than the side who played Middlesbrough. Mike [Phelan] did a good job today.

"And there was a magnificent performance from Wilfried Zaha. He was sublime. They couldn't cope with him, and that goal is a contender for goal of the season.

"We made defensive errors, scored three away from home and still have not won. When Wilf got the second we really should be seeing that out from there. We score goals but we just need to tighten up."

Palace have now not kept a clean sheet in the league since Boxing Day 2015.
