Elliot Grandin thrilled by Premier League challenge

Elliot Grandin has revealed that he is excited by the challenge of playing in the Premier League following his move to Crystal Palace.

The 25-year-old midfielder joined the Eagles on Friday after being released by Blackpool.

"It's very nice because every game is a new challenge," Grandin told the club's official website.

"It's like a cup final every game. You play against great players, great teams, so you have to be focused on your football and everyone has to give their best because it's a difficult league – the best league in the world, I think."

Palace start the new season at home to Tottenham Hotspur on August 18.
