Coventry City sign former Tottenham Hotspur youngster Ruben Lameiras

Coventry City have bolstered their squad with the signing of midfielder Ruben Lameiras.

The former Tottenham Hotspur player spent the final months of last season on loan at Swedish side Atvidabergs, but after returning to White Hart Lane, he was released by the North London outfit.

Boss Tony Mowbray told the club's official website: "Ruben can play central or on the wings, so once again, we've got another player who can be a valuable option for us across the park."

The 20-year-old has penned a two-year deal at the Ricoh Arena.
