Steven Pressley wins League One Manager of the Month

Coventry City boss Steven Pressley has been named Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month for October.

Four wins and a draw has helped the Sky Blues pull within three points of the playoff spots.

The highlight was arguably a 3-1 win over leaders Leyton Orient two weeks ago, which saw them become the first team to beat the O's in 14 games.

Russell Slade was among the contenders rivalling him for the honour, along with Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Kenny Jackett and Graham Westley of Stevenage.

Meanwhile, a tally of four goals has seen MK Dons striker Patrick Bamford win the Player of the Month.
