Report: Valencia target Oriol Romeu

Valencia are reportedly plotting a move to sign Chelsea youngster Oriol Romeu.

The 20-year-old, who arrived at Stamford Bridge in a £4.35m deal from Barcelona last summer, has not yet made an appearance for the Blues this season.

There is believed to be a clause in the player's contract which allows his former club to buy him back for a fee of £12m.

According to El Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona could be willing to co-operate with their La Liga rivals in order to bring Romeu back to Spain.

Romeu made 16 Premier League appearances last season.
