Rafael Leao's agent Jorge Mendes has reportedly offered the AC Milan attacker to Real Madrid.
Leao is currently in contract talks with Milan, but should they stall, Mendes appears to prefer Madrid as the next destination for his client.
Chelsea were the side leading the race among Premier League clubs for Leao's signature, but a recent Youtube interview with Leao cast doubt on any move to England, after he was quoted as saying: "I don't like the weather there."
Leao also admitted that he prefers the Milanese lifestyle, further adding: "I like Milan, the duomo, the malls, the clubs and food are superior (than London)."
Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Mendes has been in touch with representatives at Real Madrid over a potential summer transfer though, dealing another blow to Chelsea's interest in the Portuguese wide man.
The report states that Real will not be interested in a big-money move for Leao, considering he plays in the same position as one of their star players, Vinicius Junior.
However, Chelsea's potential lack of Champions League football next season could seriously weaken their ability to attract the biggest names to Stamford Bridge when the transfer window reopens.
