Paris Saint-Germain are poised to swoop for Chelsea's Juan Mata in January, according to a report.

The Sunday People claims that the Spanish playmaker will be subject to a £35m bid from the French champions, with the Parisiens missing out on the midfielder in the summer.

Meanwhile, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly ready to tell John Terry, Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole that they are a part of his plans.

Mata had initially struggled to earn a regular first-team place despite being the club's player of the season two years running, although he did start against Steaua Bucharest in the Blues' last outing.
