Chelsea's Josh McEachran joins Wigan Athletic on loan

Chelsea have announced that midfielder Josh McEachran has signed for Wigan Athletic on loan until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old has failed to keep a place in the Blues first team since making his senior debut in 2010.

After spending the first half of the campaign on loan at Watford, McEachran will be heading North to Wigan to finish the season in the Championship.

McEachran began his career at the West London club having joined the academy in 2001.
