Thibaut Courtois has hinted that he will return to Chelsea next season after revealing a conversation he had with Blues boss Jose Mourinho.
The Belgian goalkeeper has spent the past three seasons on loan at La Liga side Atletico Madrid, where he helped them win the Spanish title last campaign.
Courtois told reporters: "I can reveal now that I have had a big meeting with Jose Mourinho in May, before the Atletico v Barcelona game.
"We talked about my situation. And after this World Cup everything will be clear to everyone."
Courtois was part of the Atletico Madrid side to reach the Champions League final.
