Chelsea to offer new Sturridge deal

Chelsea are ready to begin negotiations with Daniel Sturridge over a new contract.

New terms by the Blues could keep the 22-year-old at Stamford Bridge until 2016, according to The Mirror.

The striker's current deal runs out at the end of next season.

Sturridge, who is on international duty with England, could make his debut against Spain on Saturday.
