Chelsea 'scout highly-rated teenager Yunus Akgun'

Chelsea are among the list of clubs monitoring Galatasaray teenager Yunus Akgun, according to a report.

Chelsea are reportedly among the clubs monitoring Galatasaray teenager Yunus Akgun.

Akgun, 18, helped Turkey's Under-19 outfit record a 1-0 win over England Under-19s on Tuesday night.

According to ESPN, scouts from Chelsea watched the youngster in action against the Three Lions, while there were also representatives from Juventus, Wolfsburg and Benfica.

The report claims that Chelsea were impressed with Akgun's performance on the night and will now monitor the winger's development over the next few months ahead of a potential move at the end of the season.

Akgun, who has already made seven first-team appearances for Galatasaray this term, has a contract with his Turkish club until the summer of 2020.
