Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
The 29-year-old has made 300 appearances for the Catalan giants since arriving from Borussia Monchengladbach in July 2014, including 22 outings in all competitions this term.
Ter Stegen's future at Camp Nou has been called into question in recent months, though, with Newcastle United and Bayern Munich said to be among the list of clubs interested in signing him.
According to El Nacional, there is also genuine interest from Chelsea, with the Blues prepared to offer up to €60m (£50.4m) for his signature during next summer's transfer window.
The report claims that the London club's owner Roman Abramovich is not currently happy with Edouard Mendy's performances and is keen to replace the Senegal international.
Ter Stegen has found it difficult to show his best form at club level during the 2021-22 campaign, keeping just six clean sheets in 22 appearances in all competitions, conceding 28 times in the process.
