Chelsea keeping tabs on Nelson Oliveira

Chelsea are reportedly preparing to make a summer offer for Benfica striker Nelson Oliveira.

The Blues are believed to have been impressed by the 20-year-old during a recent Champions League meeting with his Portuguese employers.

As a result, Chelsea are said to be keen on adding the Portugal international to their squad in time for the new season, according to Portuguese newspaper Record.

However, the report has claimed that they may face competition from Spanish and European champions Barcelona for his signature.

Scouts from Barca were in attendance during Benfica's league clash against Maritimo at the weekend to watch Oliveira in action.
