Chelsea are lining up a move for Southampton full-back Nathaniel Clyne in the summer, according to a report.

Chelsea are eyeing a move for Southampton right-back Nathaniel Clyne in the summer, according to a report.

The Mirror reports that the Blues are to put in a bid of around £7.5m for the 21-year-old following a series of impressive performances this season.

Clyne has established himself as an integral part of the England Under-21 squad that will compete at the European Championships in Israel later this year.

The Saints full-back was watched by Chelsea scouts in Stuart Pearce's side's 3-0 win over Romania on Thursday.
