Chelsea are reportedly set to rival Tottenham Hotspur for the signature of Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie.
The 24-year-old has registered three goals and one assist across 16 appearances for Juventus this season, while he also started all four of USA's games at the 2022 World Cup.
Although he is under contract with the Italian giants until June 2025, McKennie has been linked with a move away from Turin.
With Juventus currently under investigation for financial irregularities, they could be pushed into selling a number of players during the January transfer window, including McKennie.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham are both interested in signing the USA international.
A recent report indicated that Spurs were quoted a €25m (£21.5m) asking price, although the cost of any potential deal could rise to €30m (£25.9m).
While Chelsea and Spurs are both said to be keen on a move, they could face competition from Borussia Dortmund, who have also been linked.
