Chelsea accept £32m for Eden Hazard?

Chelsea reportedly accept an offer of £32m from Real Madrid for Eden Hazard.

Real Madrid have reportedly won the race for Eden Hazard's signature, beating off competition from Paris Saint-Germain for the Chelsea midfielder.

The 25-year-old is widely tipped to depart Stamford Bridge this summer after a disappointing campaign, prompting interest from Premier League sides Manchester United and Manchester City, as well as Bayern Munich, Madrid and Ligue 1 champions PSG.

A report in recent days claimed that Chelsea's alleged valuation of £80m - the third highest transfer fee in history - was pricing the Belgian out of a move, however, with interested parties refusing to sanction a move.

According to Spanish publication OK Diario, the Blues have now recognised that their valuation is unrealistic and have accepted an offer of €40m (£32m) from Zinedine Zidane's side.

Respected journalist Eduardo Inda told the newspaper: "The Eden Hazard deal is done. The transfer price has been agreed with the player and with Chelsea."

Zidane has been vocal in his admiration for Hazard in the past, describing him as the world's third best player behind Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
