The agent of Dynamo Moscow's Arsen Zakharyan refuses to rule out a move to Chelsea for his client in the future despite a deal breaking down in the summer.

The agent of Dynamo Moscow midfielder Arsen Zakharyan has confirmed that his client could still move to Chelsea despite a deal collapsing last summer.

The 19-year-old had reportedly agreed on personal terms to move to Stamford Bridge but the clubs failed to finalise a deal due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The player's agent, Pavel Andreev, had previously referred to negotiations as 'complex' but has refused to rule out a potential move to the Blues in the January transfer window or beyond.

"There remains a possibility of a transfer of Arsen Zakharyan to Chelsea," the agent told sports.ru.

Zakharyan's contract with Dynamo reportedly contains a £12.6m release clause, which Chelsea are understood to be willing to match to bring the talented midfielder to the Premier League.

The youngster has scored two goals and assisted five in 16 Russian Premier League matches so far this season.
