Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has reportedly urged Ashley Cole to stay with the club.
The defender's future at Stamford Bridge had been in doubt after an alleged row with under-fire manager Andre Villas-Boas.
However, the Russian billionaire has intervened to make sure that Cole does not think of leaving, according to The Mirror.
The 31-year-old joined the Blues from Arsenal in 2006.
