How Chelsea could line up against Everton

Ahead of Sunday's Premier League game between Chelsea and Everton, Sports Mole looks at how Frank Lampard's side could line up in West London

Chelsea play host to Everton on Sunday afternoon looking to retain their grip on fourth position in the Premier League standings.

While the Blues have picked up four points from their last two league outings, they only sit three points ahead of Manchester United.

Although Frank Lampard's side warmed up for this fixture with an impressive 2-0 victory over Liverpool in the FA Cup fifth round earlier this week, it came at a cost with more players joining a growing injury list.

Here, Sports Mole predicts how the West Londoners may line up for the encounter at Stamford Bridge.

CHEXI VS. EVE

Out: Jorginho (suspended), N'Golo Kante (hamstring), Callum Hudson-Odoi (hamstring), Tammy Abraham (ankle), Mateo Kovacic (Achilles),
Doubtful: Willian (Achilles), Christian Pulisic (muscular), Ruben Loftus-Cheek (lack of match fitness)

Having picked up his 10th yellow card of the Premier League campaign last weekend, Jorginho will now sit out the next two matches.

The Italian has been joined on the sidelines by Mateo Kovacic, who suffered a significant Achilles problem against Liverpool on Tuesday night.

With N'Golo Kante also out through injury, youngster Billy Gilmour is expected to partner Ross Barkley and Mason Mount in a midfield three.

Providing that Lampard opts to keep the same back four from the triumph over the league leaders, Reece James may be used further forward to replace Willian, who is also carrying an Achilles issue.

As a result of keeping a clean sheet on his return to the starting lineup, Kepa Arrizabalaga is expected to get the nod over Willy Caballero.

Despite coming through a second-string game earlier this week, Ruben Loftus-Cheek is unlikely to come into contention for a starting role.
