John Terry not travelled with Chelsea

Chelsea captain John Terry has not travelled with his team to the Etihad Stadium for tonight's Premier League clash against Manchester City.

The defender, who was ruled out of the match with a knee injury, was expected to be on the touchline to lend his team support during the match.

However, the 31-year-old has stayed in London and is likely to return for Saturday's match against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Blues can move up into the Champions League places with a win against Roberto Mancini's side tonight.
