Having found John Terry "scary" at first, Cesar Azpilicueta admits that the Chelsea captain is helping him settle in at the club.

Cesar Azpilicueta has admitted that he found John Terry "scary" when he first arrived at Chelsea from Marseille in the summer.

However, since then, the Spanish full-back has revealed that his captain has played a major role in helping him to settle in at Stamford Bridge.

"Terry is a bit scary at first," he told El Pais. "His temper on the field can be frightening, but he is a very good guy.

"He helps the new players a lot and on the field he gives me advice, corrects me. He is a leader. I respect him a lot. With David Luiz there are more jokes, he is more fun."

Azpilicueta has made 20 appearances in all competitions for the Blues this season.
