Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has heaped praise on Chelsea new boy Eden Hazard.
The Belgian winger scored his first goal for the Champions League winners on Saturday in their 2-0 win over the Magpies to cement their place at the top of the Premier League.
Hazard has impressed with his start to his career with the Blues after scoring one goal, assisting four and winning two penalties in his side's opening three games, and Pardew insists that the 21-year-old is making a huge impact at Stamford Bridge.
"You can see why so many top clubs were chasing Hazard and he has certainly given Chelsea an extra dimension in the first few games of this season," Pardew told ESPN.
"My team won 2-0 at Stamford Bridge last May, but Chelsea have a little bit more than they had in their locker last season with Hazard.
"He has that little bit of arrogance and composure top players tend to have when they get on the ball and he was a real threat against us."
Chelsea sit top of the Premier League table after winning all three of their opening games.
