Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho reveals that captain John Terry has a chance of being fit for the club's Champions League semi-final second leg with Atletico Madrid.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that defender John Terry has a "little chance" of being fit to play against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night.

Terry picked up a foot injury in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final with the Spanish side, and despite ruling the club captain out of Chelsea's game with Liverpool, Mourinho suggested that he could return in midweek.

The 51-year-old told reporters: "He has no chance for Sunday and then a little one for Wednesday. That is it."

Terry is expected to be one of a number of players who won't be risked at Anfield on Sunday.

Daniel Sturridge of Liverpool is congratulated by teammate Luis Suarez after scoring his team's third goal during the Barclays Premier League match between Liverpool and Everton at Anfield on January 28, 2014
