Juan Mata: We haven't been good enough

Mata admits to poor form

Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata has admitted that Chelsea are not performing as they should be in the Premier League.

Mata has been a success in his first season in English football but the Spanish international claims that the team must act quickly to save their campaign.

The 23-year-old said: "The whole squad is not content with our game at the moment.

"We are not functioning well enough in the Premier League and we need a quick reaction. That is our main objective.

"We need to reduce the gap on Spurs but to do that we need to keep winning - just win, win and win."

Chelsea are currently in fifth place, seven points behind Tottenham Hotspur.
