Felix Magath: Chelsea Champions League trip "advantage" for Fulham

Fulham manager Felix Magath thinks that Chelsea's midweek trip to Turkey could be an advantage for his side in Saturday's clash.

Fulham manager Felix Magath has admitted that it is an "advantage" for his side that Saturday's opponents Chelsea travelled to Istanbul on Wednesday in the Champions League.

Chelsea drew 1-1 with Galatasaray just three days before the weekend's West London derby, but despite the journey Magath said that the Blues will still be the favourite going into the game.

"It's an advantage for sure, we are lucky Chelsea had such a long trip and played on Wednesday, it's a good situation for us," BBC Sport quotes Magath as saying.

"Travel bothers the players, it is a chance for us but Chelsea are the favourites."

Fulham are currently bottom of the Premier League, while Chelsea sit top.
