Filipe Luis hails Neymar as a "genius"

Chelsea defender Filipe Luis hails Neymar as a "genius" following the Barcelona star's four goals for Brazil against Japan.

Chelsea defender Filipe Luis has hailed the impact that the "genius" of Neymar has on the Brazil side.

The Barcelona forward scored all four goals as Dunga's side beat Japan 4-0 on Tuesday, and the Blues left-back compared his international teammate to the likes of Ronaldo and Rivaldo.

Selecao Brasileira quotes him as saying: "We have to take care of Neymar, because he is a genius. And it will take football years to emerge another genius like him.

"Brazil had Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo and others, then we waited a while without someone like them. We finally have Neymar. With Neymar, we can beat any team in the world. I have no doubt about it. Brazil is very lucky to have him.

"Neymar is not famous because of media hype, he is famous because he conquers all on the field, dribbling, goals and records."

Neymar's four-goal haul took his international tally up to 40 in 58 games for Brazil.
