Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard could reportedly return to the team for Sunday's Premier League match against Manchester United.

The 35-year-old has been out of action for the Blues since suffering a muscle injury during his side's 2-1 win over Liverpool on December 29.

However, the midfielder has resumed full training and has been given the green light to feature in this weekend's encounter, according to the Daily Star.

Chelsea are currently third in the Premier League table, two points adrift of leaders Arsenal.
