Jose Mourinho has dismissed suggestions that his relationship with Eden Hazard had broken down by the time that he was removed from his position at Chelsea in 2015.
Mourinho had guided Chelsea to the Premier League title during the previous campaign but the Blues endured a dismal start to the following season, and it resulted in the Portuguese being axed in December of that year.
However, Mourinho has rejected claims that he and Hazard had fallen out before the club's manager left Stamford Bridge.
The 56-year-old told beIN Sports: "No. No. Hazard with me was voted the best player in the Premier League. He won the award. No, no way. I have a good relationship with him."
Hazard failed to score a single goal for Chelsea during the opening five months of the 2015-16 campaign, but 14 had been netted in the previous Premier League season.
