Joe Hart: 'Long way to go in title race'

Joe Hart warns Chelsea that Man City will be looking to "put right" their home defeat to Arsenal when they meet in a Premier League title showdown on January 31.

Joe Hart has warned Chelsea that Manchester City will bounce back from their defeat to Arsenal and push them all the way in the Premier League title race.

The Citizens went down 2-0 to the Gunners at the Etihad Stadium last weekend to fall five points behind Chelsea ahead of their showdown on January 31.

England goalkeeper Hart has insisted that City travel to Stamford Bridge next weekend to "put right" that home loss and expects there to be many more twists and turns before the championship is decided.

He told Sky Sports News: "We are confident, sometimes stuff happens and you lose games. It wasn't down to a lack of effort or lack of ability - a penalty and a set piece has cost us. We have performed well for the majority of the season, but sometimes it happens and we will bounce back.

"There is a long way to go. We go to Chelsea to put right what happened on Sunday, we are together, we are a great group and we enjoy each other's company - it helps that there is a lot of quality in the dressing room.

"It's the Premier League, it's happened to us many times when we have won it, but it's happened one too many times this season but it's not lost."

Hart was a key member of the City sides that won the Premier League last season and in 2011-2012.
