Community Shield given early start

This August's Community Shield between Manchester City and Chelsea will start at 1.30pm.

Ordinarily, the traditional season curtain-raiser gets underway at 3pm.

However, the Football Association has decided that this year it will commence earlier.

The match will also take place at Villa Park and not Wembley due to the its status as an Olympic venue.
