Chelsea make contact with Laurent Blanc?

Laurent Blanc has reportedly been identified as a potential candidate to manage Chelsea.

With the Blues struggling to qualify for next season's Champions League and alleged disagreements over the club's transfer policy, the future of current head coach Antonio Conte remains up in the air.

Numerous names have been linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season and according to Tuttomercatoweb, Blanc is in the frame.

The Frenchman has been out of work since leaving Paris Saint-Germain in 2016, while the former Manchester United centre-back has also spent time as manager of the national team.

Blanc has only held appointments in his homeland, but that has not prevented the 52-year-old from being linked with some of the top jobs in European football in the past.
