Petr Cech praises Oscar European display

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has revealed that he believes Oscar is worth the £25m transfer fee that the club paid for him in the summer

Oscar signed for Chelsea from Internacional and after the Brazilian midfielder scored two goals against Juventus on Wednesday night, Cech believes that people will now see the best of the 20-year-old.

Cech told The Guardian: "He has a pretty big price tag on him for a young guy and that's extra pressure. So it's been great for him that we see this performance, and two goals will give him a lot of confidence. People will realise he is good value.

"Only time will tell but he's on a very good way. He's settled in quickly and you can see he's worth the money the club spent. He's only 20 so let's see how he's going to develop."

Oscar has scored two goals in nine appearances for Brazil.
