FULL TIME: City 2-1 Chelsea

Mike Dean blows the whistle and brings the encounter to an end. It's a brilliant win for City who go back to within a point of United. The Citizens have now had a phenomenal 20 straight home wins while the defeat is Di Matteo's first at Chelsea. Thanks for joining Sports Mole this evening, good night!

90 min: Four minutes added on at the Etihad as Drogba fires a cross to no-one.

85 min: GOAL! Nasri completes the turnaround!

Super goal from the home side. Nasri drives at the Chelsea defence and plays to Tevez who returns to the Frenchman with a clever reverse pass. Nasri takes one touch to settle before dinking just over the onrushing Cech.

79 min: City almost complete the turnaround straight away but Cech just manages to hold on to Nasri's low shot. At White Hart Lane, Spurs' miserable run is continuing as Stoke have taken a 1-0 lead thanks to Cameron Jerome, while at Loftus Road Sebastian Coates has scored a scissor kick to put Liverpool ahead against QPR.

78 min: GOAL! Aguero levels from the spot!

Dean awards City a spot kick after Essien charged down a Zabaleta volley and the ball struck the Ghanian's hand. A harsh decision as it was almost point blank but Aguero steps and sends Cech the wrong way.

77 min: PENALTY TO CITY!

75 min: Mata is freed down the left and he drives into the area and has few options so blasts at Hart, who parries behind for a corner.

73 min: Drogba replaces Torres who's not had a bad game up top for the Blues.

67 min: Clichy stings the palms of Cech after fizzing a shot straight at the Czech keeper. The reception to Tevez's introduction was mixed from the crowd.

66 min: He'll replace Nigel de Jong in what is clearly an attacking change.

64 min: Tevez is about to come on for his first City appearance since September. Can the Argentinian provide the impetus needed for Mancini's men?

60 min: GOAL! Cahill puts the visitors one up!

It's very fortuitous but Chelsea have taken a surprise lead. The ball loops in the air following a corner before dropping to Cahill, whose shot is weak but deflects wickedly past the helpless Hart.

58 min: Lampard goes into the book for a challenge from behind on Yaya and Di Matteo brings on Michael Essien for the disappointing Meireles.

55 min: Good couple of minutes for City as Nasri jinxes a yard of space down the left and chips a cross that falls onto the bar before falling to Zabaleta, who drilled to Silva to poke just wide.

53 min: Little happening at the Etihad and it's the same across all the games. Just four goals in the seven Premier League and Championship games this evening.

50 min: Yaya goes clear down the right and pauses before picking out Nasri but his effort is woeful and goes into the row Z.

48 min: As in the first half, Chelsea look to be restricted to the counter attack as Cech nips the ball away from Aguero in the area.

46 min: Second half is underway here and one change made by City as Gareth Barry replaces Balotelli. Wonder if Tevez will make an appearance later on...

HALF TIME: That's the end of the opening 45. City have been the better side and should be ahead but Chelsea will feel they have a chance to nick a win in the second half. Stay tuned.

44 min: Mata becomes the first man to go into Dean's book as he cynically tugs at Yaya. Half time looming and both managers need to gee up their players for a rollocking second period.

43 min: Nasri and Zabaleta patiently try to carve out a chance down the right and Zabaleta crosses for Aguero who tries, acrobatically, to turn the ball in but it balloons over.

39 min: Torres and Richards have a friendly hug despite the latter being brought down by Torres. They've had a quite a battle tonight.

32 min: Ramires does well down the right and his cross looks destined to find Torres a yard or so out only for Kolo to nick the ball away from the Spanish frontman. Excellent defending.

29 min: Awful error from Lampard presents Balotelli with the ball and the Italian races clear and is through on goal. He drags his shot a little and it is helped wide by Cech. Bad miss from the goal machine that Balotell is.

27 min: After some patient build-up play Nasri lets fly from 25 yards but the ball rises over Cech's crossbar.

23 min: At Goodison, Thomas Vermaelen has given Arsenal an early lead. Bad news for Chelsea, who are chasing the Gunners in fourth place.

22 min: Chelsea have a rare foray into the City half and earn a corner after Zabaleta headed out a Meireles cross. After the set piece was cleared Mata got in but Hart cut out the cross.

20 min: Ivanovic has picked up an injury and he is replaced by Jose Bosingwa at right-back.

19 min: After that electric opening ten minutes there has been little goalmouth action but it's still City who are the aggressors.

14 min: Chelsea are being wasteful in possession and Meireles gives it to Balotelli but he can't get past Cech.

12 min: Chelsea give the ball away and Yaya breaks away before setting up Aguero who drills in a low centre that Luiz almost diverts into his own net.

8 min: City hit the bar! Nasri breaks free down the middle and volleys a lob over Cech that smacks the face of the crossbar and comes back to the Chelsea keeper. Really good game so far, love it!

8 min: Good stuff from Torres, who is allowed to turn before going past a couple of players and laying in Mata. The ball falls on the Spaniard's much weaker right foot and he too shoots wide.

5 min: First real chance as Zabaleta finds space in the area before cutting back to Silva. The Spaniard can only blaze high and wide though.

4 min: Nasri's begun well and the Frenchman skips past Ivanovic before seeing his cross blocked and loop up to the grateful hands of Cech.

2 min: City earn an early corner and Richards almost meets at the near post before Zabaleta sees a shot deflected wide. Good start for the home side.

19.47: Following a minute's applause for Fabrice Muamba, Mike Dean blows his whistle for the first time and we're underway.

19.40: Looking forward to this one if both sides have a go. City's defence looks a bit jumbled and if Torres is on form he could certainly shake things up. However, City have won every single home game this season. We'll also bring you goal updates from the other three Premier League games tonight: Spurs vs. Stoke, Everton vs. Arsenal and QPR vs. Liverpool.
