Sports Mole previews the first leg of the League Cup semi-final clash between Chelsea and Swansea City at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea will attempt to take a lead into the second leg of their League Cup semi-final clash with Swansea City when they welcome the Welsh outfit to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.

The Blues were comprehensive winners over Leeds United in the previous round, while Swansea overcame Championship outfit Middlesbrough by the single goal.

Both sides are also on an impressive run of form with Chelsea having lost just one of their last five matches in all competitions, but Swansea have remained unbeaten during the same period.

The two teams have already met in the Premier League this season, when the points were shared in a 1-1 draw at the Liberty Stadium. However, the last clash between the pair at Stamford Bridge ended in a 4-1 win for the home side in September 2011.

Chelsea are expected to recall Fernando Torres to lead their line at the expense of Demba Ba, while David Luiz could drop back into defence with Oscar operating in the number 10 position.

Swansea, meanwhile, will recall Michu, Angel Rangel and Ashley Williams to their starting side, with Nathan Dyer and Dwight Tiendalli both expected to miss out.
