How Tottenham Hotspur could line up against Chelsea

Ahead of Thursday's EFL Cup encounter between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, Sports Mole looks at how Mauricio Pochettino's side could line up at Stamford Bridge.

Tottenham Hotspur head into the second leg of their EFL Cup semi-final with Chelsea having earned a slender advantage from the previous game at Wembley Stadium.

A first-half spot kick from Harry Kane gave the North London outfit a 1-0 victory, and a place in the final will be the club's reward should they avoid defeat at Stamford Bridge.

Spurs have warmed up for Thursday's all-London showdown with a 2-1 triumph against Fulham at the weekend, a result which has given Mauricio Pochettino's team a four-point advantage over Chelsea in the Premier League table.

Pochettino has a number of injury issues to contend with, and here Sports Mole looks at how his team could line up against their city rivals.

Out: Harry Kane (ankle), Moussa Sissoko (groin), Victor Wanyama (knee), Son Heung-min (international duty)
Doubtful: Lucas Moura (knee), Dele Alli (hamstring)

Dele Alli will be assessed by the club's medical staff ahead of the game, but Pochettino is unlikely to take any risks with the England international.

Lucas Moura could feature in the squad after a knee injury, but the Brazilian is only expected to be named on the bench should he be deemed fit enough to play a part at Stamford Bridge.

Erik Lamela and Fernando Llorente could retain their places in the starting lineup, with Christian Eriksen being used further forward if Eric Dier is available to start in the first XI.

Ben Davies may come back into the side to replace Danny Rose, with Pochettino likely to use a 3-4-3 formation due to the lack of options in the final third.
