Guus Hiddink: 'Pedro could play with broken nose'

Chelsea interim manager Guus Hiddink says that Pedro could feature against Liverpool on Wednesday night, despite suffering a broken nose.

Chelsea interim manager Guus Hiddink has suggested that Pedro could still feature in his squad for the Premier League fixture at Liverpool on Wednesday night.

Pedro suffered a broken nose during an incident at home, but the Spaniard could make an appearance at Anfield having trained with the squad before their trip to Merseyside.

The Dutchman told the club's official website: "Pedro is not out but has broken his nose, not in training but at home - I don't know what happened! He had a little accident on his own. His wife was not involved, she was here and I asked her!

"He very unfortunately fell and broke his nose. He has trained today (Tuesday)."

The winger has made 38 appearances for the Blues since signing from Barcelona during the summer.
