Radamel Falcao returns to Chelsea training

Chelsea's on-loan striker Radamel Falcao returns to first-team training following more than four months on the sidelines with a thigh problem.

Radamel Falcao is closing on a first-team return for Chelsea after taking part in the Premier League side's training session at their Cobham complex on Friday afternoon.

The Colombian international, who is currently on loan at the Blues from AS Monaco, has only made nine Premier League appearances this season.

The striker has not actually appeared for the London club since October after battling to overcome a number of injuries, the latest of which involved his thigh.

The 30-year-old took part in Chelsea's session on Friday, however, and could be available for Wednesday's Champions League last-16 second leg against Paris Saint-Germain
