Chelsea team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Newcastle United

Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Monday's Premier League clash with Newcastle United.

Chelsea will be looking to make it five victories in a row in all competitions when they continue their 2020-21 Premier League campaign at home to Newcastle United on Monday night.

The Blues booked their spot in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup courtesy of a 1-0 success over Championship outfit Barnsley on Thursday night.

Thomas Tuchel's side have also won their last three in the Premier League to move into fifth position in the table, just one point behind fourth-placed Liverpool on the same number of matches.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's injury and suspension concerns ahead of their next league game at home to Newcastle.

Possible return date: February 15 (vs. Newcastle)

Thiago Silva again missed out against Barnsley in the FA Cup due to a muscular problem, and he remains a doubt for the team's next Premier League match. The Brazilian has not yet been officially ruled out of the contest, though, and could therefore prove his fitness over the weekend.

Timo Werner

Timo Werner was not involved against Barnsley due to a dead leg that he picked up in the win over Sheffield United on February 7. The Germany international is likely to be available for this game, though.

Kai Havertz
