Jose Mourinho happy to avoid replay

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho expresses his relief at having avoided a replay in today's FA Cup fourth-round win over Stoke City.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has spoken of his relief at avoiding a replay in the FA Cup fourth round this afternoon.

The Blues booked their spot in the last 16 of the competition courtesy of a 1-0 win over Stoke City at Stamford Bridge today, with Oscar grabbing the only goal of the game in the 27th minute.

"I think 1-0 is short for the way we played and for the way we controlled the game, but the important thing today was to win and not play a replay, because we don't need an extra match and I think that was a good thing," Mourinho told ITV Sport.

Chelsea will travel to the Etihad Stadium to take on Manchester City in the pick of the fifth-round ties.
