A Chelsea fan was allegedly stabbed tonight ahead of the club's Champions League match against Galatasaray.

The Mirror reports that some Chelsea fans claimed to have been been attacked in a bar in the Taksim Square area of Istanbul.

One fan was reportedly stabbed in the backside, while another was kicked in the head. However, it is thought that neither required hospital treatment.

The newspaper adds that Chelsea have been notified of the incidents.
