Chelsea's Jose Mourinho not getting carried away

Jose Mourinho insists that his Chelsea players must not get carried away with their victory over Schalke at home in the Champions League.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has urged his players not to get carried away with their victory over Schalke 04 in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Samuel Eto'o scored twice and Demba Ba found the net once for the Blues as they got the better of their German rivals 3-0 at Stamford Bridge.

"We have to understand why we win matches and do not forget why we win," UEFA.com quotes him the Portuguese as saying. "Today we must realise why we won. We must keep calm – there is another important game on Saturday we have to try to win.

"Willian and [Andre] Schurrle did fantastic work for us. We have a big squad, we have players with quality. Sometimes players are frustrated when not first choice.

"The important thing is that when they get the chance they play well, like [Cesar] Azpilicueta today (Wednesday). He played in a position he is not familiar with and did very well."

Chelsea are currently at the top of Group E with nine points from four matches, three points clear of second-placed Schalke.
