Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas criticises Chelsea after the Spanish club's European exit.

Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas has claimed that Chelsea's playing style "damaged" the Spanish club after they were eliminated from the Champions League.

Chelsea claimed a 2-2 draw on the night, meaning that the English club have advanced to the European final with a 3-2 aggregate win.

However, Fabregas has insisted that Barcelona will return stronger next year after suffering what he believed was an "unjust" result.

"Football is unjust sometimes. But if there is one way you want to lose, it is like this, being true to our style," Fabregas told reporters.

"I am 24 years old, and I have never seen Camp Nou react like this after defeat. This is a great team, we will be back next year. Chelsea's playing style damaged us, we were far superior and we created several chances."

Fabregas has scored 15 goals for Barcelona this season.
