Guy Luzon: 'We have to build on Brentford victory'

Charlton Athletic boss Guy Luzon insists that his side have to build on their long-awaited win over Brentford and move clear of the Championship relegation zone.

Charlton Athletic boss Guy Luzon feels that his side have to continue to show the same level of performance that they did in their 3-0 win over Brentford to guide themselves clear of the relegation zone.

The Addicks ended a run of 14 matches without a victory in all competitions as strikes from Johann Berg Gudmundsson, Igor Vetokele and Frederic Bulot secured the three points at The Valley this afternoon.

Luzon told the club's official website: "We played very well today, moved the ball well and created chances. We deserved to win.

"We have to show the same performance in the next game. Every player gave their maximum today."

Charlton are 18th in the Championship table, six points clear of the relegation zone.
