Preview: Charlton Athletic vs. Brighton & Hove Albion

Sports Mole previews the Championship clash between Charlton and Brighton on Boxing Day.

Brighton & Hove Albion could enter the Championship playoff places on Boxing Day if they beat struggling Charlton Athletic at The Valley.

Oscar Garcia's side are currently on a three-match unbeaten run, with two wins and one draw seeing them move to within two points of the top six places.

Meanwhile, hosts Charlton will start the day two points above the relegation zone following a five-game streak without a victory.

The teams played out two draws when they met in the league last season.

Charlton will be without Johnnie Jackson as their captain completes a three-match ban, while Ben Hamer and Leon Cort are also absent.

Brighton skipper Gordon Greer could make his return from injury, but Kazenga LuaLua misses out through suspension.
