Result: Zenit St Petersburg 0-0 APOEL

APOEL have created history this season by becoming the first ever Cypriot side to qualify for the final 16 of the Champions League.

Ivan Jovanovic's side achieved the feat by holding out for a 0-0 draw away at Russian side Zenit St Petersburg.

The home side created numerous chances, particularly after the break, but both Danny and Alexander Bukharov missed good opportunities.

Zenit will join APOEL in the next round if Shakhtar Donetsk defeat FC Porto later this evening.
