Rami Gershon joins Celtic on loan

Celtic have signed Standard Liege defender Rami Gershon on loan until the end of the season.

The 24-year-old Israeli is the Scottish Premier League champions' first arrival in the January transfer window.

The Hoops also have the chance to make the switch permanent at the end of the deal.

Gershon is due to meet up with his new teammates as they train in Spain during the winter break.
